VISIONAIRE INSTITUTE FIRST GRADUATION EXHIBITION

VISIONAIRE INSTITUTE - Press Release

Second Life® - VISIONAIRE INSTITUTE would like to cordially invite you to a exhibition showcasing our first graduating class of photographers: Anouk Lefavre, Eva Cross, Imani Enzo, Liat Reina, Mari Firelight, Prisilla S. Avro, Seashell Dench, Solde Rothmanay, and Tamara Artis.

The graduates participated in a 12-week course that covered various SL photography topics that ranged from viewer photo tools usage to PhotoShop techniques and photographic composition. They were then tasked with a Final Project which then is fulfilled in these two graduation exhibitions.

As part of the final project, each trainee was given the same no modify shape with which to tell a story, one they had to convey in images alone. A second part of the final project incorporated our partnership with SCALA Models Academy.  In this second part each VISIONAIRE trainee was paired with a SCALA Models Academy model.  Trainees had to learn to work with a model and produce photographs for them.

The VISIONAIRE INSTITUTE Graduate Exhibition is a unique experience that will run on two sims.

The next round of VISIONAIRE INSTITUTE classes will be announced as the graduate exhibition draws to a close.  Both exhibition locations house our group subscriber, so do be sure to join it if you wish to remain informed as to when applications open for the next round of classes.

VOGUE ITALIA, L'UOMO VOGUE (CONDE NAST) and PORSCHE DESIGN

YES! You didn't see the logo at the bottom left corner wrongly. Its the VOGUE logo.

In my attempt to bridge the huge gap between my Secondlife work and real life works as an visual artist/art director/photographer, my SL Graphic & Photography work had been one of the 20 images selected (amongst thousands!) by Vogue Italia and L'Uomo Vogue in conjunction with Porsche Design to be exhibited as a setting for an exclusive cocktail party to celebrate the opening of the new Porsche Design boutique in Milan!

Thank you Vogue Italia, Porsche Design, Ms. Franca Sozzani, Mr. Juergen Gessler and also Bardelli Chiara.

If anyone of you in Italy passes by the Porsche Design boutique in Via della Spiga Milan, please snap a picture and send it to me!

SAVIAD Spring Fashion Fair

The SAVIAD group is honoured to invite you “FIERA/Blooming Spring Fair” which will be held from March 15th to the 31st.
 

With a special event organized by Kabuki Boutique and a special issue of Versus Magazine entirely dedicated to the Fair.

This can be defined as the main event of 2014: SAVIAD, a group spawned from the fusion of three main SL® fashion brands: Solidea Folies, Violator e Ad Creations  - all of which have been operating in Second Life® for years, together in the celebration of Spring with an event without precedent.

SAVIAD Blooming Spring Fair is a fair which is includes more than 50 brands, and it is also honoured to be sponsored by Sys, Gabriel, Gizza, Azul, Elysium, Dead Dollz, Pure Poison, Les Petit Details, HMAEM, Sonatta Morales, Zibska e Lybra.

Organizing this event was was a big challenge for the Saviad group: created only two months ago, in january 2014, it already relies on the trust of several fashion brands, demonstrating how the dedication and professionalism of the group founders and their collaborators have been valued and appreciated over the years.

The Fair will take place on 3 sims and on different levels: near the shops immersed in an artistic environment, you will find several stands dedicated to gacha, giveaways and the “Tiger Alley”, a special market area where you will find special item editions that our fellow designers created to celebrate the white tiger that represents SAVIAD.
